This week brings the combined musical approaches of two of the finest young modern jazz players around in this co-led quintet. Mark Perry and Duncan Eagles have worked with each other extensively over the years and finally have brought their writing together for this originals project drawing on influences from the contemporary New York scene such as Terence Blanchard, Walter Smith III and Ambrose Akinmusire to name a few.
Both musicians are prize winners, and Duncan is currently promoting a new record called 'Cohesion' with his trio 'Partikel' on Whirlwind Records that has received rave reviews.
