TUESDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER: CATH ROBERTS' 'QUADRACERATOPS'
Our first guest band this month is the four-horned jazz beast 'Quadraceratops', led by saxophonist/composer Cath Roberts.
Using her composing and arranging talents developed in the highly acclaimed Hackney Colliery Band, Cath draws upon the likes of Steve Coleman, Tim Berne, Reid Anderson and Andrew D'Angelo as influences for the music of this emerging septet.
The group recently recorded a live EP at The Forge in Camden which, along with full band member biographies and much more, can be found at Cath's website HERE.
Cath Roberts - Alto Sax
Tom Ward - Tenor Sax
Dave Orchant - Trumpet
Magnus Dearness - Trombone
Kit Massey - Keys
Dave O'Brian - Bass
Luke Christie - Drums
We look forward to seeing them and hopefully lots of you on Tuesday!
