Tonight's gig will feature music from Rick's debut album, Semi Wogan. The quartet explore a mixture of rhythmic grooves, free improvisation and contemporary harmony all whilst maintaining a melodic core. Influences range from David Binney, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Vijay Iyer and Jason Moran. In the second set the quartet will be joined by stellar vibraphonist Jim Hart and saxophone genius Michael Chillingworth debuting brand new music written for this ensemble.
