Piano - Alex Hutton
Double Bass - Simon Little

Featuring Jim Rattigan on French Horn

"Alex Hutton makes vividly intelligent music that stands out
head and shoulders in a crowded scene."

Brian Morton

Rattigan displays a phenomenal technique...
emotional warmth and feeling for jazz...permeates his playing throughout the album.

Geoff Winston, London Jazz

This week we have a fantastic collaboration between two of the UK's brightest talents.

The Alex Hutton trio will be performing music from their critically acclaimed new Album 'Legentis'. The focus of the music is on taking the joy, optimism and range of emotions found in big film score but condensing to piano trio. The band will also perform  'Songs From the Seven Hills',  a graceful Jarrett-influenced tone poem to the often overlooked pastoral beauty of the landscape of Alex's native town, subtitled The Sheffield Suite.

Joining them is Jim Rattigan who will be performing some music from his new quartet album 'shuzzed'
