Nick is fast becoming one of the most in demand young guitarists in the London jazz scene. Winner of the Yamaha Jazz Scholarship for Outstanding Musicians, his recordings have featured front page on Jazzwise Magazine CDs. With a developed sound and individual voice on his instrument, Nick has had the opportunity to perform with some of the country’s finest musicians including Jean Toussaint, Martin Speake, Henry Lowther and Jacqui Dankworth.

The Miguel Gorodi/Sam Braysher Quintet featuring Pete Hurt began life as a quartet led by Gorodi (trumpet) and Braysher (alto saxophone) until the addition of Pete Hurt (tenor saxophone), who has played with the likes of George Russell, Carla Bley and Kenny Wheeler. The band plays original compositions by Miguel, Sam and Pete, most of which are based (in contrasting ways) upon existing jazz compositions and forms.
